"Le Mouton Chanteur" (or "The Singing Sheep" in English) is an original composition in valse musette style. The title was inspired by a small, plush music box that my baby girl received as a gift from friends upon their return from travels in France. The toy played "Il pleut, il pleut, bergere," a popular children's song written for Marie Antoinette. That tune is quoted in "Le Mouton."
